FMD’s core business is the sintering of hard metals and cermets, materials used for cutting, forming and wear tools manufacturing. Their customers, carbide tool makers specialised in different sectors, are mainly located in Western Europe. Part of the carbide tools which are fully finished at FMD, are used for hot and cold wire rolling as well as tube drawing.
