08 March, 2024The ACCUBASK project, financed by the Basque Government and SPRI through the HAZITEK program, has reached the end of its first year with a plenary meeting where its promising progress and results have been confirmed.
On January 30, the plenary meeting of the Hazitek ACCUBASK project was held at the Ideko technology center, with the presence of all the participating companies and technology centers. During the meeting, the general progress of the project was reviewed and a detailed review of each work package was made, confirming the good progress of the project and the promising results that are being achieved. The meeting also served to highlight the good cooperation and knowledge transfer that is taking place, both among the participating companies and from the technology centers to the companies.
ACCUBASK is a strategic project that brings together the main players in the machine tool industry in the Basque Country. Led by Soraluce, the project has the participation of Zayer, Danobat, Ibarmia, Fagor Automation, ONA Electroerosion and Gaindu, as well as AFM, the Spanish Association of Machine Tool, Accessories, Components and Tools Manufacturers. On behalf of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI), the technology centers Ideko, Tekniker, Tecnalia and Vicomtech are participating in the project, as well as the University of the Basque Country and the business R&D units Fagor Aotek, Ikergune and MTC.
