18 January, 2024AFM Cluster, through its technology unit INVEMA, has been selected to act as ambassador of the European AIRISE project, which seeks to support European SMEs in the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to manufacturing, with a specific focus on the use of AI applications at the Edge.
The main objective for these applications is to achieve reductions in resource consumption and carbon footprint, while ensuring resilient production. The consortium will create an ecosystem where AI experts will support SMEs in conducting adoption experiments and connect them with Digital Innovation Hubs and other commercial entities. The project will launch Open Calls for SMEs to access AI experts through a first stage of assessment to identify status and potential, followed by a second stage of running pilot applications and validation experiments. The project will support more than 500 cases of SMEs and midcaps.
INVEMA's role will be to raise awareness of the project and its Open Call, help companies identify potential applications and guide them through the application process.
