The Spanish Association of manufacturers of Machine-tool, accessories, parts and tools, AFM, has signed a collaboration agreement with Industry Arena, the leading industrial B2B community in Germany that puts manufacturers and suppliers of advanced manufacturing technologies in contact with their target public.
By virtue of this agreement, AFM will provide the German origin platform with contents in Spanish, aimed at the Spanish market, but also the Hispano-American market, improving the online positioning of the association and especially of its associated companies. The latter will also be able to access the largest online portal dedicated to advanced manufacturing technologies under advantageous conditions.
In the words of Xabier Ortueta, Director General of AFM: “Industry Arena is the largest international platform related to advanced manufacturing and engineering, and it offers manufacturers of production technologies a magnificent showcase where they can inform of their latest advances and connect to their customers, dealers, agents and even suppliers. A strong presence on this platform will help improve our positioning as a sector and also, of course, the positioning of our companies”.
On behalf of IndustryArena GmbH, its Executive Director, Frank Nolden, has stated: "We are very satisfied that this cooperation has become a reality. We are aware of the importance of AFM in Spain and of the trust that the Association has earned from Spanish companies. Our desire is to start as soon as possible”.
Spain is the third producer of Machine tools in the European Union, behind Germany and Italy, and the ninth in the world. AFM, the sectorial association, promotes and fosters the dissemination of the activities of its associated companies, maximising their presence and image, and contributing to strengthening their international competitiveness.
