CEVISA has put into action an ambitious innovation plan and has recently acquired two new machines for its plant located in the capital of Alava, which already has a broad machinery pool for machining with centres, milling machines, lathes and boring machines, to which it now adds a JUARISTI boring centre and a PFAUTER P200 gear hobbing machine up to module 5 with palletised feeding.
This new machinery increases the nominal capacity to parts with dimensions of up to 2000 x 1700 x 1500 mm for boring, 2900 x 900 x 1200 mm for milling and ø820 x 2500 mm for lathing, and will add versatility to the CEVISA manufacturing process, easily and quickly adapting to market demands.
The CEVISA equipment includes 25 machine tools that can offer additional operations, such as grinding, drilling, cutting, slotting, milling, screwing, soldering and full set assembly.
According to CEVISA: “this new investment represents a commitment by the company to sustained growth and to providing a more agile response to the needs of our customers”.
