The Nicolás Correa Group was present at the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) held in Beijing on 12 and 17 April. The CIMT was held at the China International Exhibition Center and is one of the most significant yearly events of the machine tool industry in the world. The 17th edition of this trade show was the first large event of the industry since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Nicolás Correa Group presented the NORMA MG fixed-bed milling machine to the Chinese market for the first time.
Along with more than 1,500 manufacturers from 27 countries, the Nicolás Correa Group participated in the trade show alongside 15 other Spanish companies from the machine tool sector, also members of the Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (AFM).
At the CIMT, the company exhibited a FOX bridge-type machine and a NORMA MG fixed-bed machine. The FOX 40 bridge-type milling machine features a continuous C5E head, large swarf removal capacity and high precision intended for the aeronautics industry, while the NORMA MG fixed-bed machine, presented for the first time to the Chinese market, features several rotary table options that offer a high degree of flexibility for multiple milling and turning operations. The machine can operate with 4+2 axes, thereby guaranteeing high flexibility while maintaining robustness and precision.
The Nicolás Correa Group has more than 900 bridge-type milling machines, 1,000 mobile column machines and 3,500 fixed-bed machines installed throughout the world, providing milling solutions that adapt perfectly to the most demanding production environments, such as the energy, automotive, aerospace and railway industries.
