DANOBATGROUP TO SHOWCASE ITS INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY ONCE AGAIN AT BIEMH 2024

30 May, 2024
  • The industrial group’s cooperatives, Danobat and Soraluce, set to showcase their latest solutions in advanced manufacturing.
  • The stand will feature live machining demos of the new fixed-bed, mobile-column milling machine, the SAD model, as well as several demos of their proven smart active vibration buffering technologies, DAS and DWS.
  • Through its presence at BIEMH 2024, Danobatgroup will also reinforce its contribution to knowledge dissemination, gender visibility in the industrial sector, and talent promotion through a range of talks and the WORKinn job fair.

Danobatgroup, a leader in advanced manufacturing, will once again have a prominent presence at the upcoming
2024 Biennial International Machine-Tool Exhibition (BIEMH), taking place from 3 to 7 June at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Barakaldo (Bizkaia).

Stand C09 in Pavilion 1 will be a clear example of the group's innovative and technological DNA, showcasing the latest solutions from the brands Danobat (and subsidiaries Hembrug and Overbeck) and Soraluce.

With a solid expertise in grinding, turning, milling and boring technologies, the group's companies lead the development of advanced machine-tool solutions designed specifically for the manufacture of high value-added parts, tailored to the needs of manufacturers in strategic sectors such as aerospace, the automotive industry, railways, capital goods and power generation.

Danobat, 70 years of experience

Danobat, a manufacturer of high value-added, technologically cutting-edge, and custom-configured solutions, with more than 70 years of experience, will leverage the BIEMH 2024 framework to showcase their capabilities in designing and developing innovative equipment in areas such as grinding, ultra-precision turning and CNC robotic machining systems, among others.

With a firm commitment to innovation, the manufacturer has inaugurated a new 12,000 square metre plant at its headquarters in Elgoibar to respond to its growing order book in sectors such as aeronautics and wind power. It has also recently announced the acquisition of the US-based Delta Wheel Truing Solutions to strengthen its position in the railway sector.

New Soraluce milling lines

Soraluce is set to exhibit at the BIEMH its latest advanced solutions in milling, boring, multifunction and automation solutions, which are the result of innovative work, specialisation, growth, sustainability and learning obtained in the sector over more than 60 years.

The top innovations this manufacturer plans to showcase at the international fair include two new milling lines: Dynamic Line, comprising three models of high-strut milling machines focused on aerospace, mould and die or mechanical engineering applications; and the new Performance Line, which provides an excellent ratio of reliability and accuracy with exceptional flexibility on medium to large-sized parts.

As an example of this second range of machines, Soraluce will be showcasing the new SAD40 mobile column milling machine at the BIEMH, offering live machining demos, as well as several demos of their proven smart active vibration buffering technologies, DAS and DWS.

Knowledge, gender perspective and talent

Danobatgroup will also reinforce their contribution to knowledge dissemination, gender visibility in the industrial sector, and talent promotion through participation in various talks and the job fair WORKinn

Nerea Aranguren, the group's Director of Innovation and new business promotion, will participate within the framework of Digital Talks, on Tuesday, 4 June at 10:55 am in a round table discussion on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the manufacturing industry, alongside José Antonio Lorenzo, Data Area Manager at Lantek, and José Antonio Lozano, Innovation Sales Lead at Bravent.

One day prior, on 3 June, coinciding with the opening of the fair, Aranguren will also be one of the speakers at the Women In Industry event, addressing the challenges and opportunities of the gender perspective in technological development.

Danobatgroup will also take part in the WORKinn Talent Hub. On 5 and 6 June, it will share its value proposition and unique business model with young students and jobseekers, as well as the latest job offers from the group and its companies Danobat, Soraluce and Goimek.
