EKICONTROL PRESENTED AT BLECHEXPO A COMPACT PRESS FEEDING LINE MODEL EA800/76

Ekicontrol is a company located in the Basque Country, North of Spain, since 1986 that designs, manufactures and installs lines for the processing of metal coils of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

The company manufactures cut-to-length, slitting, multiblanking and press feeding lines and true to its strong vocation for international expansion, this year it exhibited for the first time at the BlechExpo International Machinery Fair in Stuttgart, Germany, from 5 to 9 November.

Ekicontrol presented in Stuttgart a compact press feeding line model EA800/76. Always starting from coil to optimize the use of raw material, generate minimum amount of waste, reduce the manipulation and therefore manufacture with a higher quality and, ultimately, to increase the benefits of the company, the EA-800/76 processes coil widths of up to 800 mm, has 9 straightening rolls of 76 mm in diameter and processes thickness from 0.4 mm to 4 mm.

This power line is composed of: hydraulic coil car, motorized decoiler with hydraulic expansion, hydraulic pressure arm, hydraulic entry table, feeder straightener and has motorized height adjustment, crocodile-type opening and release of pilot plate. Its technical characteristics are 10 tons of coil load, variable speed of up to 40 meters per minute, Siemens Brushless Servomotor, 4 feeder rolls and feed tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm.

Ekicontrol works in collaboration with its clients to offer customized solutions and manufactures models for different widths, thicknesses, tonnages and specific requirements. Its lines have hydraulic expansion of the mandrel, sonnar for the control of the external diameter of the coil and touch screen for easy programming among other advances.

The Ekicontrol lines are a fusion between mechanical design and electronic equipment and use top-level suppliers such as SIEMENS. At present, the company is immersed in incorporating the Industry 4.0 to its lines with the goal of giving useful information in real time to its users and help them carry out better decision-making processes.
