Therefore for medium-sized parts, this type of multiple slide press is constructed at the most productive installation
Fagor Arrasate has started producing tri-axis transfer presses to respond to customer needs for stamping parts in larger sizes or higher tonnage, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity. To do so its new installations resolve the different technical issues raised by such installations: from driving the two heads that generate the slide movement to developing a transfer to feed and evacuate the parts from the machine.
Fagor Arrasate has incorporated the most innovative solutions into its multiple slide press installations, solutions it has developed successfully in recent years.
Multiple slide transfer presses are much more productive, whilst occupying less plant space and requiring fewer operators thanks to their level of automation, yielding production gross profit margin ratios of between 13 and 20 GPM, a much higher level of productivity than lines of presses and very close to that of single slide transfer presses. It is worth highlighting however, that the use of several slides does condition transfer operation in large part, which normally operates at a fixed stroke. Therefore for medium-sized parts, this type of multiple slide press is constructed at the most productive installation, and is only slightly handicapped when working with small parts, and this only compared to single slide transfer presses that can adapt transfer pace to part size
