Following market evolution and demand, GER has added another range to the already extensive machinery selection it brings to market. Up to now, the cylindrical gear grinding machines offered by GER were sliding table machines (the part travels longitudinally and the grinding wheel transversally) with a maximum capacity of 6 metres in length for parts of up to 6000 kg.
With the new range of machines with fixed parts and both longitudinal and transversal grinding wheel heads, the grinding capacity is increased to 10 metres and parts of up to 10 tonnes.
This range of machines is offered from 4-metre parts for versions of 2, 4, 6 and 10 tonnes, with rotations that can go from 600mm to 1500mm. They include all the available universalisation options in the current cylindrical machine to offer a suitable solution to all types of markets and parts. In addition to gaining in capacity, the new machine takes up 35% less space in the plant, which is a very important consideration for most companies.
The company Husyca, S.A. has chosen this new model for grinding injection and extrusion spindles of up to 5 metres in length.
GER has been manufacturing gear grinding machines since 1952. The knowledge developed since then allows them to contribute all kinds of solutions adapted to the needs of the client in the field of flat, cylindrical and vertical grinding. Its mission is based on client proximity, the capacity to integrate technological solutions, manufacturing quality and service agility.
