HEPYC 5-GROOVE HARD METAL TROCHOIDAL MILLING TOOLS

The 3193 milling tool combines different parameters that result in a unique geometry for machining of any type of steel, including hardness up to 60 HRc, with maximum productivity, ideal for trochoidal milling.

In terms of detail, the main characteristics are:

• Longer cut length, with chipbreaker, to enable use of the entire length of cut, achieving greater depth per stroke at high cutting speeds.
• 5 grooves with variable 37º-38º propeller which gives maximum stability to prevent vibrations and provides and optimal surface finish.
• Very tight tolerances in cut and handle for greater precision.
• Coating of high heat-resistant AlCrN for working with extremely hard materials (up to 60 HRc).
• 45º bevelled edges to reinforce the cutting edge of the milling tool, increase its useful life and, at the same time, improve the adherence of the surface coating.
• Gap between cut diameter and handle for use in trochoidal milling.
• The range is in stock from Ø6 to Ø25 mm.
