The new range of tap screws known as Hunix includes GAS tap screws that can increase the useful life of tools, improve machining, simplify stock management and boost profitability.

Hunix is the new range of screw taps that addresses three strategic lines of design and in-house production: universal geometry, Microfinish technology and state-of-the-art treatments and coatings.

Under the slogan “Simplify tasks. Save hassle”, the Hunix screw tap, including the HUNIX GAS, comes in two versions, VAP and TIN+, capable of machining up to 77% of materials.

Unique due to its universal geometry

The design developed for this screw tap aims to create the cutting and shred evacuation conditions necessary in any group of materials. This is possible largely thanks to its optimised groove profile, adapted undercut and progressive helical grooves. Three features that have made the Hunix range unique, due to its performance in machining, passing all the tests it has undergone with flying colours.

Unique thanks to its Microfinish technology

Hunix incorporates Microfinish technology, an innovative formula that increases the quality of the screw and performs up to 27% better in production than a conventional screw tap.

Furthermore, with this new range of screw taps, Hepyc has managed to reduce tool wear and tear, boosting useful life by 27%, thanks to the rounding of the cutting edges.

Another advantage of this technology is its reduced surface roughness, which decreases friction during machining, less torque (effort) which prevents premature breakages.

Similarly, a third feature consisting of its continuous cutting edge means a higher quality surface finish of the screw.

Unique due to its state-of-the-art treatment

The two-coat treatment on the Hunix TIN+ tap screw makes it one of the industry’s most beneficial tools in terms of toughness, friction coefficient, maximum temperature and coating thickness.

In addition to the factors mentioned, such as its universal nature, enhanced shred evacuation, increased useful life, etc., it offers stable machining and correct screw sizing.

The VAP coating, for better lubrication, completes the Hunix range, making it the best value-for-money option.
