The national manufacturer, HEPYC, has launched its new laser marking for machine taps onto the market, which identifies the application they are recommended for.
Thus, HEPYC becomes the first national brand to carry out this type of laser identification on its taps, which makes them very easy to identify and very resistant, as they never rub off, which is something that occurs with coloured rings.
The following nomenclatures are used:
• 800 - Taps for steel of up to 800 N/mm resistance
• 1100 - Taps for steel of up to 1100 N/mm resistance
• 1400 - Taps for steel of up to 1400 N/mm resistance
• INOX - Taps for stainless steel
• AL - Taps for Aluminium and its alloys
• CU - Taps for Copper and its alloys
• TI - Taps for Titanium and its alloys
• NI - Taps for Nickel and its alloys
• F - Taps for foundry.
