22 July, 2022Hepyc, the Gipuzkoa-based firm specialising in swarf-removing cutting tools, celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2022 with a 15% increase in turnover compared to the prior year.
With the slogan “We deliver!” Hepyc is commemorating its 75th year in good shape. According to its CEO, Álvaro Pagadiagorria, this is thanks to its constant innovation: “although we’ve been around for a long time, we are currently in the midst of advanced manufacturing, based on industry 4.0, where we have invested over 2 million euros in recent years. The secret to our success has been to never stop.”
A testament to this non-stop activity is the increasing number of new products being launched, such as the range of HUNIX screw taps, an in-house development innovation capable of machining up to 77% of materials and increasing screwing production by an additional 27%.
Hepyc is today present in 48 countries with exports accounting for 30% of its production and over 2,500 distributors.
This Gipuzkoa-based company has a workforce of 60, including production and commercial staff, managing a product catalogue with over 20,000 references and a logistics department capable of delivering an order to Paris within 16 hours, or to Singapore in just 4 days.
