The event, which had a distinctive re-union quality for the entire IBARMIA community, was held between 3 and 6 November after almost two years of social isolation. The main aim of these open days was to showcase the essence of IBARMIA from project to product, to all interested parties.
The event was run over three days, each with a different theme. The first day, 3 November, was dubbed the Dealer Meeting and consisted of a training session with the entire sales network. Held at Hotel Barceló Costa Vasca in San Sebastian, its aim was to present all the aspects involved in the sales process of an IBARMIA product; knowledge, process... and people, because this was the first time the company had the opportunity to bring all of its distribution agents together under one roof. The hope is to build the foundations of a new way of conducting bidirectional IBARMIA-DISTRIBUTION relations.
4 and 5 November were held as open days. Under the slogan “Your machine-tool point”, the company opened its doors and gave attendees the opportunity to get to know its most advanced products and facilities, as well as to visit the technological stands set up by suppliers FANUC, PIXEL, RENISHAW and TECNALIA. An official event was held on the evening of 4 November, with the participation of institutions, technological and strategic suppliers, distributors and a selection of distinguished clients whose projects were a driving force earning them well-deserved recognition, specifically: LAULAGUN BEARINGS, GRI-FORJAS IRATEA and SÁNCHEZ GUERRA (Spain), MICHELIN and HALGAND (France), VANDERSCHEUREN (Belgium), SCHENK & SCHMID (Germany) and TECNOMECCANICA (Italy).
Lastly, 6 November was Family Day, an informal day for families and close friends of IBARMIA staff to get to know the company.
