Within its policy to support the internationalisation of companies, the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX) has placed its sights on IZAR, the number 1 national manufacturer of cutting tools (drills, milling cutters, male connectors,…). The video that the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness has posted on its website, icex.ex, - in Th Exporter Magazine section - is the result of this collaboration.
The one-hundred year-old history of this Basque company is reviewed in the video, and of course, emphasis is placed on its exporting potential, as IZAR sells its tools in 80 foreign markets all over the world, including the entire European Union, North America, and practically all the industrialised countries in the world.
This is all thanks to a quality product, a fast distribution service (24 hours for France) and an extensive network of personal contacts, which IZAR has built up since it began its exporting adventure at the end of the sixties. IZAR is a clear example of the commitment to national production in a sector like cutting tools, which is so competitive and constantly evolving. It is also an employee-owned company, firmly entrenched within the social economy and environmentally responsible.
In terms of its internal operation, noteworthy is the advanced organisational system of the company in mini-companies, an autonomous management model of the workers in each area of the company, which fosters co-responsibility and commitment to continuous improvement.
The video can be seen on the company website, www.izartool.com and on its YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/izartool.
