IZAR CELEBRATES THE INDUSTRY DAY

IZAR CUTTING TOOLS S.A.L., a leading European manufacturer of cutting and precision tools, is one of the leading companies that has collaborated with the Industry Day run by the Vizcaya Federation of Metal Companies.

The Industry Day was held last 22nd November to make the industrial sector visible as an attractive destination for the professionals of the future, attracting talent and reinforcing the incorporation of women, whose presence in the sector is growing.

This day enabled more than 600 young high school technology students, from 23 teaching centres from throughout the historical territory of Bizkaia, to visit a total of 28 companies which represent the territory. They have been able to look at the industrial reality from an inside perspective, and get to know first-hand the technologically advanced environments that are typical of the 4.0 revolution.
The day culminated in a main event in the Lecture Hall of the University of the Basque Country, which could be followed via on-line streaming diadelaindustria.eus and which brought together all the participants, with anecdotes from newly incorporated workers in the industry.
