The Basque company (pavilion 5 – Stand F-36) remains loyal to this major international meeting with professionals from the industrial sector where it will show how to realise projects in Industry 4.0 in the sheet metal and metal sector.
Loyal to its commitment to promote Industry 4.0 and to develop smart factories for the sheet metal and metal sector, the ground-breaking multinational in digital transformation of the metal industrial sector, Lantek, announces that it will be present as an exhibiting firm at the Spanish Machine Tool Biennial (BIEMH 2018), which will be held in Bilbao from 28 May to 1 June. The company will be located in Pavilion 5 – Stand F-36.
BIEMH is the country’s major meeting on Machine Tool, Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing that is held every two years, and that will be the meeting place for more than 1,500 companies and more than 40,000 professionals from all over the world, representing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, aeronautical and ancillary, capital goods, metal constructions, energy generation, railroad, subcontracting in roughing and sheet metal work, moulds and dies, among others.
Within this framework, the Basque multinational will take advantage of its presence at this 30th edition of the fair to inform companies and manufacturers, from all over the world, of its latest innovations in the field of Industry 4.0, and show how its solution and service proposals permit the materialisation and realisation of future projects, “placing the metal and sheet metal transformation industry on the digitalisation path to make it more competitive”, as Joseba Montoya, chief commercial officer of Lantek for Spain and Portugal, points out.
“We want to propose alternatives and for manufacturers from our sector to see how it is possible to redefine the processes, using technology, and above all, doing so in a simple manner. BIEMH 2018 is the perfect stage to show all of this to the world”, the company's chief commercial officer continues.
The technological advances in Industry such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cyberphysical systems, the Cloud, Machine Learning and Big Data analytical tools or Artificial Intelligence (AI), among other technologies, are already a reality applied to the industrial setting, which gives rise to a highly significant improvement in the efficiency of organisations, reaching levels never before seen. In this sense, Lantek, with its technological proposal, wishes to make these advances in its sector accessible, to facilitate process automation as well as the integration and interconnection of production systems and tasks.
During the fair, Lantek will show, in real time, how to digitalise your company’s production, from the workshop to all your departments.Visitors will be able to experience a full analysis of all the information generated by their companies with real data.
Thus, Lantek solutions reduce the daily complexity of factories and afford greater coordination, control and 360º visibility of the situation of each process, making the factory more flexible and faster so that it can always adapt to the market demands.
