Lantek, a global leader in software solutions for the metal industry, has unveiled version 44 of its software. This update integrates enhancements in its CAD/CAM, MES, and ERP systems under the concept “Connected. Live. Smart.”. The new release focuses on maximizing productivity, strengthening connectivity, and simplifying decision-making with advanced tools that link machines, data, and operators.
The Lantek Expert v44 introduces features such as Property-Based Nesting, allowing parts to be grouped by specific attributes like delivery dates or clients, optimizing the cutting process. Additionally, the New Import Wizard enhances DXF/DWG file management by filtering layers and removing unnecessary geometry, speeding up preparation times. The new Punch Exchange functionality improves turret flexibility, enhancing operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, Lantek Flex3D has added improvements for tube and profile cutting, including optimized part import processes and advanced splitting techniques such as straight, angled, and Z-shaped cuts. These features are particularly useful for structural part manufacturing. Moreover, its compatibility with robotic cutting heads extends its capabilities to highly complex projects.
The Lantek MES suite introduces Intralogistics, a tool designed to streamline material flow from storage to cutting equipment. This innovation not only reduces downtime but also improves traceability and minimizes workshop errors. Additionally, the advanced lost-part management function allows operators to resume tasks without restarting entire processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
In ERP, Lantek Integra v44 includes a Drag and Drop function that simplifies file and document management, improving user experience and administrative efficiency. Moreover, assigning specific prices to leftover materials enables more precise cost control.
The Lantek Bend v44 module features an improved CAD import system compatible with the latest native formats, as well as the ability to export bending data in DXF format for robotic programming, ensuring maximum accuracy and automation in bending processes.
The “Connected. Live. Smart.” concept, powered by tools like Lantek Analytics, positions version v44 as a key solution for advanced manufacturing. By connecting data, operators, and equipment in real time, manufacturers can monitor performance, optimize planning, and make data-driven decisions.
Raúl Chopitea, Lantek’s Product Director, stated: “Our goal with this latest update is to empower factories to become more connected, efficient, and smart.”
With these innovations, Lantek reinforces its leadership in digitizing the metalworking industry, offering solutions that transform production processes and prepare companies for Industry 4.0 challenges.
