LANTEK SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES ITS PARTICIPATION IN THE MOST IMPORTANT METAL FAIR IN ITALY

Lantek, global leaders in the development and marketing of CAD/CAM/MES/ERP software solutions for the metal industry, have just brought to an end their participation as exhibiters in LAMIERA, one of the most important metal sector fairs in Italy that was held for the first time in Milan from 17 to 20 May. The event received a record number of visitors who visited the 480 accredited stands, including Lantek's stand, where they showed their latest software solutions that allow factories to move towards the so-called Industry 4.0.

The most important companies of the sector have attended the 2017 edition of the Italian fair, with an important delegation of guest countries, such as Brazil, Canada, China, India, Mexico or Russia, among others. Sergio Castagnino, General Manager of Lantek Italy, has described the results obtained by the firm at this biennial show as excellent, “Lantek, over these 3 days, has been one of the benchmark companies at this meeting due to its commitment to the optimisation and efficiency of metal factories, equipping industrial plants with intelligence. Our solutions make Industry 4.0 come true, connecting machines, processes and equipment to improve the product’s final quality”.

At this meeting, Lantek has also provided a response to an increasingly more obvious reality: the sheet metal sector is moving towards its digital transformation and towards industry 4.0. “Thanks to our presence at LAMIERA, we have been able to approach our customers, partners and dealers in Italy and in other countries. Industry 4.0, in particular, has been one of the axes of the Italian fair, showing once again how important it is for firms such as Lantek to place all their know-how in this field on the market. “Our portfolio of solutions for this area covers advanced connectivity technologies, horizontal and vertical integration of systems and the management of plant data, among others”, the General Manager of Lantek Italy points out.
