One of the strategic objectives that the multinational, Lantek, has set itself this year is to strengthen its presence on international markets in order to consolidate its world leadership in the development and marketing of software solutions for the metal industry and the machine-tool sector. Within a few months, the Basque firm has surpassed 15,000 customers and aspires to increase its total turnover by 20%.
The consolidation of its global positioning is confirmed by the strategic agreements reached with cutting-edge companies from the metal sector, such as the last one with Rossetti Equipamentos Rodoviários Ltda, which has placed its trust in the technology of this company from Alava for the production strategies of its three Brazilian plants. Furthermore, the progressive implementation of this multinational has remained constant, with own offices and commercial networks, and it has reinforced its professional teams in the main markets of more than 100 countries.
Lantek is currently the technological benchmark of the metal industry in Europe, with special activity in Germany, Italy, Poland and Turkey. Furthermore, over the last few years, it has increased its presence in the American market, which represents 15% of the multinational’s sales. The offices in South Korea and China are the branches that have been operating for the longest in Asia, situating this region as the second in Lantek's global turnover. International business alone represents more than 85% of the turnover today of this multinational company located in Miñano.
“Our global positioning is the result of Lantek’s commitment to go where others do not, opening branches, with teams and own offices, to support our partners and manufacturers both in the technical and commercial areas. At Lantek we not only provide the necessary technological tools in the production processes of our customers. We also develop improvement and management programmes applied to our technology in order to optimise the performance and efficiency of the software we create", explains Alberto Martinez, manager of Lantek.
ThyssenKrupp, Siemens, Tata, Suzuki, Alstom, Airbus, Hyundai, JCB, Iveco, Coperfil, Fiat, Koxka, Liebherr and Otis, among other firms, place their trust in Lantek’s products and services to automate their machines and maximise their production processes.
