LARGE THREE-DIMENSIONAL MEASURING MACHINE, ALREADY OPERATIONAL AT TDG

Since last February, the new Hexagon gantry machine for three-dimensional measurement has been operational at TDG. It is a gantry machine of great dimensions that will allow better precision values ​​and improving the quality of the product, in accordance with the requirements of sectors of such high demand as the aeronautic, wind or rail.

Specifically, the Hexagon Alpha 2.0 is prepared to measure parts with dimensions up to 2.5 x 3.3 meters, perfect for the type of standard TDG clamping solution, and with accuracies of up to 0.0001mm on each axis.

Parallel to the start-up of the three-dimensional machine, TDG personnel have been trained through various training sessions by Hexagon itself, to immediately start to implement this new technology as part of its production process for high performance and great added value.

The three-dimensional machine, as well as for internal use as part of TDG's quality assurance system, will be available for external subcontracting, especially for the company's network of customers and partners.

With this investment, TDG goes one step further and continues with its strategic plan for 2019-2021, in which it expects to grow at least 15%, especially in projects of high technical value.
