14 February, 2019Meco Machines, together with Eurecat (Technology Centre of Catalonia), are holding a technology conference on 7 March next about dieless 3D sheet forming. The event will be held at the headquarters of Eurecat Cerdanyola (Barcelona) from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
The purpose of the conference is to present the possibilities offered by ISF technology (Incremental Sheet Forming or Dieless manufacturing), versus stamping, embossing or manual processes for manufacturing short series or prototypes of sheet metal parts. ISF technology is based on incremental sheet forming by numerical control, without the need for expensive equipment, to create 3D shapes.
The event will also include the presentation of a new generation of machines for implementing ISF Technology in the industry, jointly developed by Meco Machines and Eurecat and capable of manufacturing large-scale parts.
The conference is aimed at companies manufacturing sheet metal parts for the automotive, aeronautics, railway, architecture, civil engineering, machinery, capital goods or domestic appliances sectors, etc.
