15TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF THE METROLOGY INDUSTRIAL DIMENSION CONFERENCE ORGANISED BY TRIMEK

Metromeet reveals the main themes of its 15th anniversary edition of the Metrology Industrial Dimension Conference. During three days, the programme will be structured around the following key themes: Real applications of Intelligent Metrology, Advanced Instrumentation and Calibration, Metrology and Industry 4.0 and New Dimensional Metrology Solutions.

In addition, Metromeet will present a guest of honour, Sara García, two-time champion of Rally TT (2016 and 2017), who will participate in the 2019 edition of the Dakar as the first female competitor to participate in the Dakar in the malle moto class. Sara will describe the value of metrology from a different perspective and how quality is managed in one of the most competitive sectors.

Organised by Innovalia and with the collaboration of Metromeet sponsors Innovalia Metrology, Renishaw, Faro, Creaform and Zeiss, Metromeet will be held at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao on the 10th, 11th and 12th of April 2019. Metromeet’s complete programme includes 24 presentations over the 3-day duration of the conference and promises to offer not only high-level technological content but also unique networking moments with professionals from the world of industry and representatives of internationally renowned companies such as Autodesk, Innovalia Metrology, Novo Nordisk A/S, Topsolid, Tekniker and CEA, among many others.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary edition, Metromeet has also gathered the main representatives of various international universities and other public and private centres, such as the PTB, the MTC, the University of Nottingham, the Romanian Bureau of Legal Metrology, the Advanced Forming Research Centre, the University of Antwerp and the Russian National Centre of Metrology.

The conference will cover some of the modern day challenges faced by companies that value the benefits of adopting intelligent metrology. Subjects such as predictive maintenance or interoperability will be key for companies that are searching for a way to make the leap to optimised digital production. The event also provides the possibility of quickly connecting technology, solutions and applications in an industrial environment.
