Ona Electroerosion obtains the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:215 quality and environmental management certificates.
The ISO 9001 standard is one of the most widespread and widely recognised quality management standards in the world. The last time the standard was revised in 2008 no significant changes were made, unlike this latest version from 2015 which includes major changes. The new ISO 9001 2015 brings significant changes, most notably the inclusion of risk management and a risk-based approach in Quality Management Systems.
Implementing an Environmental Management System that complies with standard UNE-EN ISO 14001 enables the systematisation of all environmental aspects that arise in each activity performed in an organisation, as well as promoting environmental protection and the prevention of pollution in a manner that strikes a balance with social and economic considerations.
By obtaining both certificates in February 2017, ONA complies with the current international standards on quality management and is improving the production processes, allocating all of the necessary resources in order to implement them within the internal organisation of the company and its products. This means that we are now certified as a company that complies with the established quality, organisational, management and R&D+i standards.
