PRECISION GEAR SPECIALIST COMPANY URETA JOINS AFM CLUSTER

AFM has just welcomed the company URETA into its collective of machine-tool, parts and tools manufacturers.

URETA was founded in 1948 and specialises in precision gears. The high technological capacity of its processes and manufacturing resources, as well as the recognised skills of its staff, together with service-oriented culture, enables URETA to guarantee a satisfactory response to the current and future needs of each client.

The products they offer include cylindrical gears, conical gears, endless crown sets, subsets and special gears. They offer their development and manufacturing services in medium and long series for a range of sectors, such as aeronautics, process automation, machine-tool, e-mobility, vending, household appliances or the medical sector, among others. The solutions they offer include flank grinding, micro-mechanics, R&D&i and the integrated process.

AFM, the Spanish association of manufacturers of machine tools, accessories, parts and tools continues to attract companies from the sector thanks to the increasingly specialised services it offers its members. AFM is the association that created AFM CLUSTER, the organisation that represents the interests of Advanced and Digital Manufacturing. Comprising six industrial associations, it groups together close to 700 companies, which employ 16,500 people and have a joint turnover of 3 billion euros.
