Husillos lpiranga and Shuton to Create a Global Ball Screw Leader.

Shareholders of Husillos lpiranga, S.L. and Shuton, S.A. have reached an agreement to create a leading European ball screw manufacturing Group. Both companies are integrated into IAZ Group, with the sole aim of reinforcing their Global avant-garde ball screw solutions provider position.

This transaction brings together a century of cumulative experience in the ball screw sector. The combined business will benefit from both companies' geographical and sectoral complementarities, as well as from the numerous operational synergies that arise in the horizontal merger.

The integrated Group will also be able to offer its customers an enhanced product portfolio, and an increased production capacity to more flexibly address sudden increases in demand.

The combination also brings together both companies' leading innovation capabilities and R&D technology platforms, with an annual pro-forma R&D budget of approximately 7% of combined revenue. Over the mid to long-term, the combined business will be able to accelerate innovation and provide customers with enhanced solutions and an optimized product suite based on their ever-changing needs.

Both brands have merged into the SHUTONIPIRANGA trademark to benefit from the prestige and brand recognition involved in both trademarks. Relationship with existing customers will continue to be close, and interlocutors will rema in unchanged.
