SSAB HAS PLACED AN ORDER WITH FAGOR ARRASATE FOR A HIGH ELASTIC LIMIT FLATTENER FOR MATERIAL PROCESSING

Fagor Arrasate has once again gained the trust of this industry giant, which has placed a second order to purchase a flattener for high elastic limits to be incorporated in its production process. This order comes a few months after the Swedish steel production company chose the Guipuzcoan company to introduce a new improvement in its high-strength part manufacturing lines.

This leading steel manufacturer has chosen Fagor Arrasate to renovate its pickle line by replacing its straightener with a more powerful one for materials measuring 1.6 to 12 mm with high elastic limits. This high elastic limit flattener will provide SSAB with considerable improvements in one of its most important processing lines.

The Swedish company has chosen Fagor Arrasate for the changes it is undertaking in its lines to process high elastic limit materials with more ease and reliability thanks to the safety provided by its solutions. This modernization of processing equipment undertaken by SSAB includes two orders placed with the Guipuzcoan company within a few months. The company will supply straighteners to the Swedish company that offer greater guarantees for processing high-hardness materials.

The high elastic limit flattener will enable SSAB to process laminated hot-rolled steel up to 1500 Mpa for 6 mm and 770 Mpa for half inch steel.
