26 July, 2022As part of our growth plan for 2024, TDG has closed a deal with Intermaher to supply a latest-generation Mazak VORTEX i.630V/6 machine, with planned commissioning in the first quarter of 2023.
This is a 5-axis vertical machining centre with capacity for parts of up to 1 metre, which can manufacture both critical parts and small/medium-sized plates. This investment will bring a major increase in production capacity for TDG, which together with the market expansion process currently under way, will enable it to grow to a turnover volume upwards of 6 million euros.
The VORTEX i-630V/6 is equipped with a Palletech pallet switching system, with 10 automatic pallets, which allows the machine to work independently.
This is the largest investment made by TDG since 2008. Back then, the company invested in large-scale milling and gear grinding machines, enabling them to reach their current position as global benchmark manufacturers in clamping solutions for heavy jobs. With this new machine, they hope to grow in volume, but also improve delivery terms and service, as well as become more competitive in terms of costs.
With this investment, which is over one million euros, TDG closes out its investments for 2022, but does not rule out making further investments from next year.
