TDG CLAMPING SOLUTIONS INCREASES ITS TURNOVER DESPITE COVID-19

The company expects to grow by 10% in 2021, thanks to its new planning and production management system.

Despite the problems posed throughout 2020 and the crisis in several key areas, such as the oil and aeronautics industries, TDG has ended the year with an increase in turnover of 18%.

This growth is the result of the work carried out over the last two years through the company's 2019-2021 Strategic Plan, part of which has focused on the development of a new planning and production management system.

The new system, developed in collaboration with the Improven and Sistplant consultancy firms, has not only allowed the company to reach weekly turnovers well beyond those of 2018 and 2019, but has also helped to improve other indicators, such as on-time delivery and work in progress.

The hundred-year old company has undergone restructuring over recent years to achieve these goals, reinforcing key organisational positions, while the company's management focused on a lean manufacturing production model that, even now in times of crisis, has begun to bear fruit.

Equally important to achieve this goal has been the acquisition and development of new technological solutions, such as pallet changers.

This new product was developed throughout 2019 and two large projects have already been delivered, allowing TDG to win projects that it was previously unable to bid for and open the way to receive large-volume orders in the coming years.

Given all of these factors, TDG expects to continue growing in 2021, at an estimated rate of nearly 10%.
