THE MACHINE TOOL MUSEUM LAUNCHES THE PROGRAMME TO SPONOR MACHINES
11 March, 2025The Machine Tool Museum has launched a new initiative to promote the conservation of industrial heritage: the ‘Sponsor a machine in the museum’ programme. With this proposal, the museum seeks to raise awareness of the importance of regular and continuous maintenance of machines, promoting their cleaning, oiling and commissioning as key elements in preserving their historical and technical value.
The initiative is open to all individuals, entities or groups who wish to become actively involved in caring for the industrial legacy, thus contributing to keeping the history of the machine tool alive.
The museum encourages you to participate in this collaborative action and reminds you that the management team is available to answer any questions or provide any further information you may need. Just get in touch and the team will be happy to answer any queries you may have.
A unique opportunity to take an active part in the protection of technical-industrial heritage and get closer to the fascinating world of the machine tool.
The museum, located in Elgoibar (Gipuzkoa), opened its doors in 1998 and has established itself as a benchmark in the conservation and recovery of historic models of machine tools, many of them in perfect working order. Its permanent exhibition provides an insight into the technological evolution of these machines, with a total of 25 pieces of operational equipment that exemplify the capacity to machine parts over time.
