TRIMEK – INNOVALIA METROLOGY ORGANISES METROMEET, THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRIAL DIMENSIONAL METROLOGY

Metromeet, the International Conference on Industrial Dimensional Metrology, will be held on 22, 23 and 24 March in Bilbao.

Organised by Trimek – Innovalia Metrology, members of AFM, the conference launches an invitation to take the leap to Industry 4.0 and Process digitalisation. Metromeet 2017 offers three days of fantastic networking, with professionals from the world of industry and representatives from companies with strong international presence such as Metrosage, PwC, Innovalia Metrology, Novo Nordisk A/S, Fraunhofer IPT, Tekniker and Autodesk among many others. Metromeet will also be attended by representatives from different international universities and other centres, such as IAC and PTB.

The Metromeet 2017 programme promises to have an innovative content of great technological interest this year. With 2 tutorials, 3 Keynotes and 4 tracks, Metromeet, held this year at Euskalduna Congress Centre, will be the meeting point for experts from the sector. There, they will be able to share latest technology applications, progress, and establish a forum for debate on the development of Metrology in a sector that is evolving at an exponential speed.

Following the dynamics of the previous year and encouraged by its great acceptance, the Technical Committee has extended the Metromeet programme to three days. This additional day will focus exclusively on the automotive world, and the morning of 24 March will be given over to determining the sector’s needs and presenting specific metrology solutions in the area of sheet metal, plastic and engine components.
