The project is part of the European AIRISE programme, which has the support and dissemination of AFM Cluster as an ambassador, and is funded by Horizon Europe. It aims to transform the management of industrial processes, increasing operational efficiency and promoting more sustainable production.
Production planning in industry remains a complex challenge. Coordinating resources, minimising downtime and adapting to unforeseen events in the supply chain requires advanced solutions. OptimAI responds to this need through algorithms developed by ZITU that apply artificial intelligence to generate the optimal planning of manufacturing orders, dynamically adjusting the schedule according to machine availability, production priorities and demand of Engranajes Lorenzo. In this way, Engranajes Lorenzo can optimise the use of its resources, reduce waste and guarantee a more agile and sustainable production.
Thanks to this technology developed by ZITU, factories can operate with greater precision and flexibility, adapting quickly to changes in demand or machine availability.
